Trump presidency has me in a "Feelin' Like 1933" mood. Populist rhetoric combined with an authoritarian/narcissist personality is a recipe for a frightening historical flashback. And he seems well on his way to making it happen.

The aristocrats of ignorance with their pious pain of fools
have voted their insistence to repeal the golden rule
while the architects of illusion have finally had their day
they built their wall of delusion, then tried to make us pay
They said what makes your country great
depends on what you hate
now let us tell you who to fear & that will make you safe
their list is long of who don't belong in the land of the free
They said they want their country back /
but I say show me the deed

Now I don't blame the working man, doin' what he's taught
to believe
every day his life is slipping by, and there's no time to

his life on rails has jumped the track
been told so many repeated lies
lives like his soul's been hypnotized
He'll never understand his life is fully planned
they've got him where they want him to be
with amnesia of the past, his fate is guaranteed to be
their pawn in this rerun of history
